Bio
Jennifer grew up in Ottawa, Canada with a big brother who took good care of her, and funny friends. In her teens she spent her time drawing and painting instead of doing homework. She drew inspiration from Conan O’Brien, Looney Tunes, and Leonard Cohen among other things.
She attended art school in Calgary, at the Alberta University of the Arts (BFA), with a specialization in drawing. Here she developed her ideas, exploring various themes of theology, mythology and psychology. After this period she continued exhibiting regularly, with large-scale pencil works, mixed-media sculpture and 2D animation.
In 2020 she also completed a diploma in 3D character animation from the Vancouver Institute for Media Arts (VanArts). She currently lives and works in Vancouver, BC as a 3D character animator.
