Bio

Jennifer grew up in Ottawa, Canada with a big brother who took good care of her, and funny friends. In her teens, she spent her time drawing and painting instead of doing homework. She drew inspiration from Conan O’Brien, Looney Tunes, and Leonard Cohen among other things.

She attended art school in Calgary, at the Alberta University of the Arts, specializing in drawing. Here she developed her ideas, exploring various themes of theology, mythology and psychology. After this period she continued exhibiting regularly, working with cartoony styles, large-scale pencil works and experimenting with mixed-media sculpture and 2D animation.

In 2020 she completed a diploma in 3D character animation from the Vancouver Institute for Media Arts (VanArts). She currently lives and works in Vancouver, BC as a 3D animator.
